Keep feedback strictly positive or negative¶
Do not mix positive and negative feedback. Give feedback about specific behaviour and keep that feedback as focused as you can. Mixing positive and negative feedback is confusing. The positive will almost always be ignored.

- Give structured feedback
- When giving feedback, structured feedback makes sure that the person getting feedback understands the context. Without context, it might be hard for them to change their behaviour in the requested way in the future. Because of this, only give feedback about specific behaviours and soon after the behaviour happens. To keep context as clear as possible, keep feedback strictly positive or negative.
