When facing a dilemma, explicitly calling it out to yourself as a dilemma allows you to weigh the trade-offs. Building this habit will allow a person to recognise more dilemmas, make a choice with intent and solve dilemmas quickly.
A dilemma is a complex choice between two mutually exclusive sides. By calling them out and weighing each side, it's far simpler to make a decision which will lead you in the direction you want to go.
